What if the assessment shows we may be exempt?
That is a useful outcome. Determining that a company may qualify for an exemption, and documenting why, is part of the work. The assessment fee is earned either way and is not refunded because a company appears exempt. Final exemption decisions should be confirmed with the program or counsel.
How long does it take?
Most assessments are completed within two to three weeks of receiving your initial files, depending on how quickly your team can share exports and supplier contacts.
What do we need to send?
A current SKU list, a recent year of sales by state from your business system, any packaging specifications you already have, a list of packaging suppliers and contract manufacturers, and any registration or filing records. Do not send confidential files through the website form; we set up a secure upload after kickoff.
How does the credit work?
If you sign a managed-service agreement within 60 days of receiving the assessment, the full assessment fee is credited toward it.
